  The Client:  United Way of Lake County, IL, based in Chicago’s north suburbs, commissioned social media consultancy Outrigger 3 to create their 2011 fundraising campaign video. Outrigger 3 hired me to provide the graphic elements that were eventually used in the animated video.   The Project:  The storyline and graphics were developed concurrently on an extremely tight timeline. I was responsible for all visuals and developed the concept of telling this story as a series of chalkboard drawings.   Success Story:  The video was selected as a finalist in the 2012 TED Ads Worth Spreading video competition. Outrigger subsequently franchised the story of “Jamie and Jamie” and “Statisticks” and it’s been used by more than two dozen other United Way chapters and the Annie E. Casey Foundation.
